On Tuesday, 23 June 2026, Botswana Harvard Health Partnership (BHP) and Diagnofirm Medical Laboratories formalized their collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at BHP.

The partnership marks an important step toward strengthening collaboration in health research, innovation, diagnostics, and capacity building, leveraging the expertise of both institutions to advance healthcare outcomes in Botswana. The collaboration underscores the critical role that public-private partnerships play in driving sustainable development, improving health outcomes, and expanding Botswana's One Health ecosystem.

Speaking during the signing ceremony, representatives from both organizations highlighted the importance of strategic partnerships in advancing scientific excellence, fostering innovation, and translating research into meaningful public health impact.

The signing ceremony also aligns with BHP's 30th Anniversary celebrations, commemorating three decades of impactful research, training, and service to Botswana's health sector.
