Dr. Kesegofetse Chabaesele joined BHP as the medicine site director for Scottish Livingstone Hospital in July 2023. She holds a Master of Medicine in Family Medicine from the University of Botswana (2019) and an MBBS from the University of the West Indies, as well as fellowship from the East and Southern Africa colleges of medicine. As an adjunct lecturer in the Family Medicine and Public Health Department at the University of Botswana, she brings extensive experience from both public and private healthcare sectors, having worked collaboratively with various organizations.

Passionate about community-based primary healthcare, Dr. Chabaesele also engages in advocacy work within the education and health sectors. She is actively involved in numerous national committees, including those focused on adverse events following immunization. Additionally, she represents Botswana in the Wonca Working Party on Women and Family Medicine and serves as deputy chairperson for the Botswana Chapter of Women in Global Health.She is also a  site director for MainCampus BW, focusing on clinical capacity building in global health in partnership with the University of Washington.
