Kate Calvin is the Executive Dean for Administration at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, overseeing the offices of Financial Services, Human Resources, Information Technology, Operations and Sponsored Programs Administration.
She brings a passion for public health and a deep commitment to Harvard Chan School’s educational and research missions. Before joining Harvard Chan School in July 2022, Kate was the associate vice president for finance at Elizabethtown College, where she led the finance, budget, accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury management, and risk management functions. She previously spent two decades at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in various roles including assistant dean for finance and administration and interim vice dean for finance and administration.
Kate received a BA in Economics and Management from Goucher College and an MBA from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
